Organize your bookmarks and browser tabs in one place.

Stop losing the good stuff in a wall of forty tabs. Tabento files every link you keep into its own compartment — by project, by topic, by client — and hands it back the moment you need it.

Tab+Bento

A bento box for your browser — three compartments for everything you keep, and a bookmark for the one you always come back to.

Built for the way you actually browse.

Four levels of order — workspace, space, collection, tab — from the project you get paid for down to the one link you meant to read.

Three ways Tabento gives your time back.

Most tab managers ask you to change how you browse. Tabento just makes the mess impossible.

Close a tab without losing it.

Send any page straight into the collection it belongs to — from the new tab, the toolbar, or the tab's context menu. It gets filed away, waiting for you when you need it.

Tool
Action

Search everything with one keystroke.

One shortcut reaches across tabs, workspaces, spaces, collections and saved sessions at once. Fuzzy matching means you only need the shape of the name, not the whole thing.

Rebuild yesterday's window in one click.

Save every open tab in a window as a collection, then reopen the whole thing later in the same order. Close thirty tabs without the fear of never finding them again.

Everything in the box.

From crash recovery to cross-device sync — the features that keep your tabs working for you.

Never lose a session again

Tabento quietly snapshots every window and tab while you browse. Crash, update or an accidental quit — reopen the browser and everything is waiting, each window intact, filed under the device it came from.

Every open tab, live in one panel

A real-time mirror of every window, right in your new tab. Jump to any tab, pin it, close a whole window, or drag tabs between windows — duplicates get flagged before they pile up.

Search everything

No matter how deeply it's filed, one search reaches every workspace, space, collection and tab you have ever saved — results narrow as you type.

Four levels of order

Workspace, space, collection, tab — client, project, topic, link. A bento box has compartments; so does your browser.

Icons & colors everywhere

Give every workspace, space and collection its own icon and colour — down to single tabs. Let a space's colour tint the whole app so the right context is one glance away.

Notes where the tabs are

Rich-text notes live inside collections — a brief, a checklist, a link dump — right next to the tabs they belong to.

A built-in cleanup toolbox

Remove duplicates, replace a domain everywhere, strip tracking params, merge collections — each tool takes one pass, with a preview before anything changes.

Sync across devices

Sign in with Google and your bento box follows you to every machine and browser. Local-first at heart — it works offline, and no account is required.

Backup and restore

Export the whole box or a single workspace to one file, and import it on any machine — merge or full restore, no account, no lock-in. Moving over from Toby? Import its library directly.

Three minutes to a tidy browser.

No migration, no import wizard. You install it and start filing tabs.

01

Install the extension

Add Tabento from the Chrome Web Store. Your tabs stay exactly where they are — only the new tab page changes.

02

File your tabs

Drag links into compartments as you go, or save an entire window as one collection before you close it.

03

Never lose one again

Press Ctrl K, type three letters, and the page you saved six weeks ago is back on screen.

Questions people ask before installing.

And the short answers.

Yes — and not in a trial sense. Unlimited workspaces, spaces, collections and local storage are free forever, with no account required. Cloud sync is the only paid extra.

Yes. Opening a new tab shows Tabento's bento-style dashboard instead of the default page — that is the whole idea. Everything else in your browser stays exactly as it is, and your existing tabs are untouched.

On your device. Tabento keeps everything in your browser's local storage — no account, no server, nothing leaves your machine. To move your bento box to another computer, export a backup file and import it there, or turn on optional cloud sync.

No. Tabento is local-first — everything lives in your browser's own storage on your machine, and the core features never talk to a server. Session tracking runs in a small background worker and only records tab titles and URLs, so your pages stay exactly as fast as they are today.

Yes. Tabento runs on every Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc — and your data stays in whichever browser you install it in.

Never on its own. Tabento only files tabs away when you ask it to. Even the duplicate cleanup shows you the full list first and waits for your confirmation before closing anything.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Your next tab deserves a home.

Install Tabento, open a new tab, and watch forty loose links turn into a neat row of compartments you can actually find things in.
